Ardbeg Fon Fhid (Scots Gaelic meaning ‘under the turf’) is the distillery’s first NFT (non-fungible token) edition, a limited edition Islay single malt that was partly aged beneath a peat bog.
Ardbeg Fon Fhid is a limited edition of 456 bottles that will be offered solely as NFTs on BlockBar.com, a luxury wine and spirits NFT marketplace. Ardbeg Fon Fhid will be available for purchase on April 19th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. EST for 1 ETH (roughly $3,030 USD at the time of writing) and can be acquired with either Ethereum or fiat currency.
