What do I need to mint an Audio NFT?
Before minting you will need a crypto wallet like Metamask, an image for your NFT which you can design for free at canva.com.
The image needs to be a minimum of 350px x 350px resolution in PNG (Portable Network Graphics) format, and the mint fee in tokens in your wallet.
The image is an important part of your Audio NFT as it is the first impression your viewers see regarding your creativity and attention to extra detail on your image will definitely guarantee you extra dividends in the long run by putting your work in front of more viewers / listeners.
How do I fill out the Audio NFT mint details?
The mint details allow you to personalize your NFT that will live on the blockchain and to give details about your unique AUDIO NFT owned and created by you.
The Track Type field allows you to choose what type of Audio NFT you are creating, and places in that category.
Beat: For audio files and recordings that can be used as a backing track for a vocalist to record on top of. A great choice for beat makers to earn royalties with analytics of track usage and distribution.

The Track Title field is to give your NFT a name. You can call your track whatever you want. Take some time in coming up with a catchy track name.
The Artist Name field is used to give your NFTs producer a name and allows searching all NFTs by artist name. You can use any artist name you like per NFT but keeping the same name allows you to get recognition and a following.
The Description field allows you to describe your NFTs and can be any details of the track, purpose, inspiration, etc,. If your track is a Beat type you can give track sections info such as 4 bars Intro, 8 bars Verse 1, 8 bars Chorus / Hook, etc,. This field scrolls as the first field of your NFT so try and be as informative about your track as possible to help people discover your track.
The Website field allows you to link your NFT to any website or URL. This can be a YouTube video, your personal website, or a business website. Please make sure to include http:// or https:// in the field. Use this field to your advantage, to drive traffic to your website or cause of your NFT.
The Genre field allows you to give your track a Genre. It could also be a hybrid genre or something totally new! If your track is not musical or is spoken word or sound effects, you should specify it in the Genre field.
The Key field is where you specify the key for example ‘A Minor’. If you are unsure of the key or your audio recording is a spoken word or sound effect, you can write NA in this field.
Tempo field allows you to specify the tempo of your recording in BPM (Beats Per Minute). Please specify 0 if your recording is spoken word or a sound effect.
Where is my Audio NFT?
After you successfully mint your NFT you can see your NFT in My Studio. Your NFT will also show up under BROWSE NFTs and CREATE AUDIO NFT. Please allow up to 30 minutes for your NFT content to show up as the new audio and image files are being made available by IPFS (Inter Planetary File System).
How do I create an Audio NFT?
You can create an AUDIO NFT by either clicking on CREATE AUDIO NFT to create a track from scratch or by clicking on BROWSE NFTs and clicking on RECORD on the NFT you like as your backing track.
Which file format can I upload for audio?
For proper encoding of your audio track please only upload WAV format files. You can use Audacity which is available free to download and use for Windows, Mac and Linux to convert your audio to WAV 16 Bits 44.1 kHz.
Our upload system will try and convert most available audio file formats to the required format. However, since there are so many different audio file formats available our upload system will notify you if it fails and you will have a chance to select a different format to upload.
Why can’t I record using my microphone?
Make sure you allow access to your microphone from the browser popup that requests permission to have access to your microphone.
How do I share my Audio NFT with the world?
Go to BROWSE NFTs and locate your NFT using the search bar. Click on the Play button. Once your NFT is loaded in the NFT Player click on any of the share icons below your NFT!
What is an Audio NFT?
An AUDIO NFT allows you to record up to 6 minutes of audio content. An AUDIO NFT can be an existing NFT that contains an audio backing track that allows you to record and mix your audio content in which case you can record as long a duration as the backing track.
What can an Audio NFT be used for?
AUDIO NFTs are great to use any audio from your device up to 6 minutes allowing you creative freedom on your track tempo, key and genre. It could be a bassline, vocals, drum track, piano ballad, sax solo, etc,. AUDIO NFTs can also be used for poems, speeches, spoken word or anything you can capture to audio.
How can I use an Audio NFT as a fundraiser?
Mint an AUDIO NFT with the wallet you want the funds to go to. Then share your NFTs link with your community, supporters to let them create a new NFT using your NFTs link. Every new NFT minted using your NFTs link earns you royalties.
What are Audio NFT Royalties?
Royalties are payment entitlements claimable directly by the NFT owner accrued by others using their NFT.
How do I check my NFTs Royalty performance?
Click on My Studio once logged in with your wallet. Then click on any track to make it flip and display the Track Stats for that NFT.
How do I claim my Royalties?
Connect your wallet and click on ROYALTIES navigation item. Click on Check Balance to see if you have any Royalties to claim. Click on Withdraw to claim your Royalties.
