Meta Drive is a Drive-to-Earn game application that combines blockchain technology and the GameFi algorithm to provide an enjoyable driving experience and improve road safety. This application allows drivers to generate rewards in the form of NFT (non-fungible tokens) and $MDT and $DRW tokens when driving safely based on the driver’s score calculated by the algorithm contained in the application.
Meta Drive users can spend their NFT in the form of virtual cars which can be upgraded with in-game currency earned through travel. This project has a social goal, which is to reduce traffic accidents and deaths by providing an incentive system in the form of NFTs and tokens.
Through gamification of the driving process, this app aims to make routine driving more enjoyable and motivate drivers to drive safely. The app uses the phone’s sensors to analyze parameters such as acceleration, braking and speed to assign the driver a score that ranges from 0 to 100. A score above 80 is considered safe driving and under 40 is considered unsafe driving.
The project also introduces an in-game economy that allows users to purchase virtual items using in-game currency or microtransactions. It is an implementation of blockchain and web 3.0 technologies that allow game developers to express ownership and introduce economics into games.
