I am a social miner, and I think it’s safe to say that everyone knows that by now. Social mining is a big opportunity for me. It allows me to develop myself while also giving me the chance to make medium- to long-term investments. This is how I got introduced to the WAX Blockchain.
When DaoLabs announced the launch of the WAX Hub, I was really excited. I knew I would get to meet a new community and learn a lot more about NFTs and the gaming world through them.
I love technology, and I am open to new things, but I don’t blindly jump into every project. Especially when my goal is to invest, I want to first get to know and understand the community. And that’s exactly what I did.
Personally, I’m not a fan of using Discord; I don’t love it. I prefer to follow all the updates and community opinions through Telegram groups for projects. But thanks to WAX Hub, I broke the record for spending time on the Discord channel.
A big thank you to Maxy and AlcieToo21, who helped me break this record and made me say “I need to ask more questions” after every answer they gave. I have not forgotten either Nemo and TommyTyranno…They patiently answered all our questions about the WAX Hub.
Ok, this is not the main Discord channel of the project; it was the WAX Hub Discord Server, where brand ambassadors hang out. But after my chat with them, I started following the WAX Blockchain Discord Server as well.
You might ask, “What made you change your mind?” In the previous paragraphs, I mentioned that my main goal was to invest. But even while investing, I also wanted to hear the opinions of other investors in the WAX community, including the brand ambassadors, not just what others wrote.
Believe me, my friends, everyone, including the brand ambassadors, expressed their opinions clearly and continues to do so. Even if they have differing opinions on a topic, they can discuss it in terms of cause and effect. I don’t think I need to stress how important this harmony is.
This is my favorite type of community. A community that criticizes the project from all angles is open to opposing views and, of course, always behaves objectively.
As far as I understand, the brand ambassadors have divided their tasks among themselves based on their interests and experiences. Actually, let’s not call it task sharing; let’s say they are trying to regularly inform the community based on their interests and experiences.
Everyone from brand ambassadors to developers and investors knows what WAX can achieve, and they are working towards that goal. This is what makes them special compared to other blockchain projects, in my opinion. WAX is focused on NFTs and games and has already caught the attention of big names in the gaming industry. Focusing on the best thing instead of trying to do everything for everyone makes a project valuable, and I think WAX is trying to do that in the best way possible.
I’m sorry. I think I’m on the way to writing a novel instead of a story.
Finally, I want to say that I am envious of the works of NFT artists in the community, and I can’t wait for the day when my son becomes an NFT artist like them and produces good works. Thank you all for reading.
