We are thrilled to share an exciting recap of recent events at Facemoon Gallery in Decentraland. The past few months have been amazing, filled with activities that kept our community engaged and excited.
April: The Roaring Twenties
In April, Facemoon Gallery kicked off the Unleashed Eras Festival with a vibrant celebration of the Roaring Twenties. We hosted a total of 11 events, including 8 themed parties and 3 movie screenings from the era. Each party featured live 1920s music, and attendees received exclusive wearables to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the decade. We also organized an exhibition of an NFT artist, enriching the cultural experience even further.
May: The Rock ’n’ Roll Fifties
May took us back to the golden age of rock ’n’ roll with the theme “Rock ’n’ Roll Revolution.” We held 12 events, including 8 themed parties and 4 screenings of iconic 1950s films. Continuing the tradition, we gave away exclusive wearables and created a thematic scene using SDK 7 for a more immersive experience. The parties included live DJ performances that brought the energy and rhythm of the 1950s to life. We also conducted giveaways on Twitter to encourage interaction on social media and participation in the parties.
June: The Swinging Sixties
In June, we immersed ourselves in the cultural revolution of the 1960s with “Hippie Harmony.” We organized a total of 12 events, including 8 themed parties and 4 screenings of films from the decade. Once again, attendees received exclusive hippie-inspired wearables, and we created a thematic scene featuring a building shaped like a hippie van for an immersive experience. The month also featured live DJ performances at 4 of the parties and the exhibition of two NFT artists in the gallery. Community interaction was key, with Twitter giveaways and interactive activities during the events.
One of June’s standout events was the launch party of MetaMerch in collaboration with CocoBay. This event was a milestone for our community, attracting a large audience and generating significant excitement.
Next Steps
With the success of recent events, we are excited to announce that July will be dedicated to the vibrant 1970s. Under the theme “Disco Fever,” we plan to continue offering unforgettable experiences with themed parties, movie screenings, live music, and exclusive wearables.
