Experience & Key Lessons
Over these three years in the NFT space, I’ve learned invaluable lessons that go far beyond the technicalities of blockchain. At first, I believed that creating and sharing my art was enough. I thought that if people admired my work, sales would naturally follow. But reality struck hard — my posts on Twitter often garnered thousands of likes and enthusiastic comments, yet when I listed the same artwork as NFTs, there were no buyers.
This paradox caused a deep cognitive dissonance. The market is unpredictable, and appreciation does not always translate into sales. This realization taught me to separate external validation from my creative process. I refuse to follow trends or cater solely to market demand. My art is a reflection of my truth, and I remain committed to that vision.
Another crucial lesson is the importance of persistence. There were countless moments when I wanted to give up. But every setback became an opportunity to refine my skills, explore new ideas, and stay true to my artistic identity. Success in the NFT space requires more than talent — it demands patience, consistency, and the courage to keep creating despite the silence.
